Here's my intro! Reposting it here because some of you guys haven't a clue who I am :)

interests: Photography, reading, computer geekery (I study IT, but it's also my damn /life/), IRC, psychology. I have a beautiful new Canon 1000D which I am almost scared to use, it being so shiny and cool.

I'm not especially fannish; basically all of my 'fan' activity goes to videogames (especially PS1 and DS RPGs). I'm currently playing Suikoden Tierkreis and Etrian Odyssey, with Valkyrie Profile and Dragon Quest: Chapters of the Chosen waiting to be started. The Phoenix Wright series is top-class (need to find my DS cartridge for #2 and finish #3, though!). I also play Guild Wars from time to time, and am in a guild (bparmie) with the best people ever.

Authors I like: Amelie Nothomb, Anais Nin, Steven Brust, Neil Gaiman (have met him multiple times now! eee. have a photo of me as a vampire attacking him, or so it seems), Terry Pratchett, Jeff Noon, Francesca Lia Block, Charles De Lint, Jacqueline Carey (new books out sooooon), Peter S. Beagle's 'The Last Unicorn' (one of the most perfect books in existence), Margaret Atwood's 'Cat's Eye', Angela Carter -- let's stop here for now.

preferences? I add people I want to read and want to get to know. I prefer introspective journal entries that give a sense of who you are inside and how you experience the world, rather than entries about daily events and fandom. (And I tend to write the same myself.) I post access-locked about half the time.

anything else? Pretty much everything's covered! But anyone who wants to ask me anything certainly can: I like questions and will answer or gently refuse. Also, I hang out in the #dw IRC channel with other people who work on DW (though I think of my role more as fangirl!). Info here on that.

Hey there, welcome! I came across your most recent post on denise's read page (I am really going to miss her being subscribed to everyone; it was a great source of interesting people during closed beta). Lengthy, thoughtful, personal and about your spirituality; after reading it, I jumped straight over to your journal to see some more of your entries, then to subscription. (After essentially ignoring it for a few years, I'm trying to explore spirituality and 'God'; while I think I'm on a pretty different path to you, it's very interesting to read other people's thoughts/experiences.
